The modern design, spacious room and 5 star amenities made our stay a comfortable one.

The fact that the hotel is located outside of Zurich city center is a bit of a downer. Despite the location, the bus+train connection to Zurich and the airport was really convenient.

Situated in the Geroldswil suburb of Zurich on the Limmat Valley, Geroldswil Hotel is a great option for those visiting Switzerland’s capital in style without breaking the bank.

Situated in the Limmat valley, far from the bustling city center, this 3-star business hotel is a great place to relax and enjoy your time in Zurich, wether you are a business traveler or a regular tourist. The modern design and attentive staff will make you feel at home. Another plus point of the hotel is the 4-lines indoor swimming pool in the basement that is free for guests to enjoy. Even though it takes a bus and a train ride to get to from the city center, it is a cheap alternative for those seeking comfort at an affordable price.

Our room was extremely spacious, featuring modern decor, leather lounge chairs, 50 inch free-standing TV, ample windows and a small office table perfect to get some work done while enjoying your stay. A rare commodity were the two separated bathrooms and plenty of closet space.

Right beside the hotel, the Geroldswil pizzeria offers authentic Italian culinary delights with specialty pizzas, cordon bleus and homemade panna cotta. On our visit we tried a grilled steak in a hot plate that was outrageously good. We found the menu to be quite pricey, but the selection of food and drinks was exquisite.

Overall, we found Geroldswil Hotel to be a great option for those visiting Switzerland’s capital in style without breaking the bank.
